Chocolate Frosting

Chocolate Frosting. Beater lickin' good. And isn't it pretty? Psss....it's easy, too! Here is all you need: Powdered sugar Butter Cocoa Milk Vanilla Melt 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter in a medium bowl in the microwave. Add 2/3 cup cocoa (I prefer Hershey's) Mix with you mixer. It will look pretty good, but won't taste so good at this point. So, don't lick your fingers just yet. Now comes the fun part. You'll need 3 cups powdered sugar and 1/3 cup milk. Alternate mixing the sugar and milk gradually. I add 1/3 of the 1/3 cup of milk (so just a tiny little bit); mix well; then add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Continue until you have all of the powdered sugar and milk mixed in. How to Roast Spaghetti Squash

Have you ever wondered how to roast spaghetti squash. Or what to do with it, in general? When we eat at Ruby Tuesday's, we almost always get roasted spaghetti squash and zucchini as our sides. We love it, but I never really knew how to fix it or roast it - or what else to do with it. Then, I sat down and figured it out. It's actually very easy. I love this picture. The evening sun was coming in the window just right and made my spaghetti squash look just a little mysterious. That's kind of how I felt when I started to work with it. How is this thing going to make "spaghetti"? Start by cutting the "top" end off. This is the hardest part of roasting a spaghetti squash. It is TOUGH. So, get a good sharp knife and dig in (carefully though!) Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Put the whole spaghetti squash in the oven while it's preheating. This was my mom's recipe and I've always stuck to it. It is delicious! Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Start with 1 - 1 1/2 lbs extra lean ground beef in a bowl. I mix with my hands, so I always let the ground beef warm up for a little bit at room temperature first. This recipe calls for tomato JUICE. I buy the little 6 pack of juices, which can be stored forever, and use 1 1/2-ish cans. Add 1 cup of tomato juice to your ground beef. Add 1 1/4 cups rolled oats - quick or regular, doesn't really matter. If you are on a gluten free diet, make sure and get gluten free oats. **oats are naturally gluten free, however, they are easily cross contaminated since they are processed right along side wheat.
