Easy One Bowl Brownies

These brownies are easy to make and easy to clean up. What more could you want?!

And they are so yummy!

Aren't they pretty?

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

Then gather your ingredients:

Sugar

Flour

4 oz package of Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate

3 eggs

3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)

Vanilla

**optional: nuts (pecans or walnuts work best)

I didn't put nuts in mine because they were for a gathering and you never know who has a nut allergy

Pssss, here's the trick.

Line a 13 x 9 inch pan with aluminum foil and spray with Pam or a cooking spray of your choice

Break up your chocolate squares into small pieces in a microwave safe bowl

Add your butter (3/4 cup or 1 1/2 sticks) and microwave for about 2 minutes to melt

When you take the chocolate and butter mixture out of the microwave, the chocolate pieces will be almost all melted. Stir until they are completely melted and look like this:

Add 2 cups of sugar to the chocolate and butter mixture and stir. It will look grainy like this:

Add 3 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla and mix well with a mixer

Add 1 cup of flour (and 1 cup of nuts ~ pecans or walnuts ~ if you choose to)

Mix well with mixer

Pour into foil lined pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean

When done, use potholders and lift the aluminum foil out of the pan and set on counter to cool. I don't know if the aluminum foil helps to disperse the heat in the oven or what, but they always come out chewy and baked all the way through. If you've ever made brownies, you know what I mean.

And look at the pan! Woo Hoo! (If you've ever cleaned a pan that you've made brownies in, this will excite you)

And that's it!

Yummy, homemade, easy to clean up BrOwNiEs!

Did I mention how good they are?
